STUDIO POLICIES:
MS AMBER RED IS OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR DETAILED, ARTISTIC, SEMI-INVASIVE SERVICES, WE KINDLY REQUEST THAT YOU RESPECT OUR NO GUEST POLICY. ONLY THOSE WITH APPOINTMENTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO.
LATENESS:
Guest should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointments to allow time to fill out paperwork and get settled in. Please familiarize yourself with our location. We have a strict no-tolerance policy for late arrivals. WE CAN NOT AND WILL NOT RUSH PERFECTION! Exceptions will not be made for anyone arriving late due to traffic or any other personal emergency. Late arrivals will be cancelled, and booking fee will be forfeited. An additional booking fee of $200 will be required to reschedule your appointment if you arrive late for your schedule appointment time.
CANCELLATIONS:
Permanent makeup booking fee/payments are non-refundable. If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment time, your booking fee payment will be forfeited. If you choose to cancel your appointment, you will automatically forfeit your permanent makeup booking fee. Additional booking fees will be required to reschedule your next appointment.
NO GUESTS PLEASE:
Due to the nature of our detailed, semi-invasive services, we kindly request that you arrive unaccompanied to your appointment. We very strictly do not allow friends, boyfriends, hobby’s, children, and/or pets to accompany you into the studio. There are many coffee shops, restaurants, and bars in our neighborhood, if your guest(s) would like to wait close by for you to complete your appointment. We are a tattoo shop and no one under 18 can be in the studio, period.
PERMANENT MAKEUP BOOKING FEE:
A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE booking fee is due immediately upon booking to secure all permanent makeup appointments. Booking fees will be charged to the credit card you pay with via emailed invoice upon booking your reservation. You may also request to call the studio at 323-283-6632 to pay your booking fee. This booking fee is to ensure that you are serious about booking your permanent makeup appointment and will be deducted from the total cost of your initial session. The remaining balance will be paid in full DAY OF SERVICE. All booking fees are nonrefundable. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW PRESCREEN INFORMATION PROVIDED TO YOU AND YOUR APPOINTMENT HAS TO BE RESCHEDULED OR CANCELLED YOUR BOOKING FEE WILL ALSO BE FORFEITED.
PERMANENT MAKEUP BALANCE:
Remaining balance will be paid in full day of procedure. Please be aware that if you decide to pay with a credit card the day of there is a 4% processing fee, otherwise we accept cash also.
WE DO NOT INCLUDE TOUCH UP SESSIONS IN THE INITIAL FEE:
It is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to book you touch up session day of your initial appointment. Touch up session should be done within 12 weeks in order to be considered a “touch up” and for us to be able to charge you the correct fee. Touch up fees range between $175-$250 depending on service. If your Touch up session is scheduled after 12 weeks, whether it is due to you not scheduling or fully booked artist, it is no longer considered a touch up and will incur a higher fee. This is why touch ups are strongly encouraged to be booked day of initial session. Touch up sessions are recommended for the best results. We however don’t include touch up fees, because they are not always needed. Additional Touch-Up appointments may be needed for oily, problematic skin, those with dark pigmented skin and people who do not follow after care instructions properly. These will be priced accordingly. If you book your touch up and it ends up not being needed, then you are allowed to cancel that touch up appointment up to 3 weeks after your initial appointment. 1+ YEAR(S) REFRESH APPOINTMENTS FOR RETURN CLIENTS:
If you are a return client and you need to schedule a refresh appointment, please call our studio directly at 323-283-6632. With each year that passes, refresh price does increase slightly. Ask us for a price quote!
WAITLIST:
We very rarely have cancellations or rescheduled appointments, however please speak to our studio directly by phone, 323-283-6632 if you would like to be added to the waitlist.
EXISTING BROW TATTOOS:
We do specialize in corrections. However, we are extremely selective when working over existing tattoos and other tattoo artists’ work. If you have had your eyebrows previously microbladed or tattooed, we request that you email us clear photos of your brows for approval (msamberred@yahoo.com) BEFORE booking your BROW TATTOO CORRECTION. In addition to the photos in your email, please include the date of your last brow tattoo, how many sessions you have received, and what you feel needs to be corrected. We will be in touch within 48 hours.
GRATUITIES
We do accept gratuities on credit cards, as well as cash. They are not necessary but welcomed, of course. 🙂
IMPORTANT FOR ALL CLIENTS:
All permanent cosmetics are considered a multiple-step appointment process. Healed results will vary with each individual client. NO guarantees will be made. Additional sessions (at an additional charge) may be required to obtain optimal desired results. Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, many factors can result in a less than desired outcome as each client will heal differently. In order for your new permanent makeup to heal properly (and look its very best) please follow all Pre & Post Care Instructions! These instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessive bleeding during the procedure can dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:
MS AMBER RED and all artists at MS AMBER RED reserves the right to refuse service and training to anyone at our discretion at any time.
