Well… it’s finally happening.
After years of building my business, growing my team, working with thousands of clients and artists, and dreaming about what I wanted the next chapter to look like, I’m officially moving Ms Amber Red to the Arts District in Las Vegas.
And no, this isn’t just a new address.
This is something I’ve been wanting to build for a long time.
A space where permanent makeup artists, tattoo artists, clients, students, creatives, and people who simply love good art can all come together.
We’re creating a place that’s about more than just getting a tattoo or getting your brows done.
It’s about community, creativity, education, events, and having a damn good time while we’re doing it.
So if you’ve been following along, here’s what you can expect from the new Ms Amber Red Arts District location.
Take a look at Ms Amber Red permanent makeup services!
Why the Arts District?
If you’ve spent any time in downtown Las Vegas, you already know the Arts District has a completely different energy.
It’s creative. It’s weird. It’s colorful. It’s constantly changing.
And honestly?
It fits us.
I’ve never wanted Ms Amber Red to feel like a cookie-cutter beauty studio.
Permanent makeup is an art form. Tattooing is an art form. And the people who do this work are artists.
So being surrounded by galleries, murals, tattoo shops, local businesses, restaurants, creatives, musicians, designers and other artists just makes sense.
The Arts District has this really cool mix of established businesses and people who are still building something from the ground up.
That’s exactly the kind of environment I want to be part of.
I’m not interested in sitting in a studio with the doors closed and pretending we’re on an island.
I want us to be part of what’s happening in Las Vegas.
This Isn’t Just a New PMU Studio
One of the biggest things I’m excited about is that the new space isn’t going to be exclusively about permanent makeup.
We’re bringing tattoo artists onto the team, too.
That opens up a whole new world for us.
We’re going to have permanent makeup artists and tattoo artists working under the same roof, sharing ideas, collaborating, creating, and bringing different types of artists into the space.
And I think that’s going to be really damn cool.
Permanent makeup artists can learn from tattoo artists.
Tattoo artists can learn from PMU artists.
Clients can discover artists they may never have found otherwise.
And artists get to be surrounded by other people who actually understand what it’s like to make a living doing something creative with your hands.
That’s something I’ve always valued.
You can learn a lot when you’re around other artists.
A Home for Permanent Makeup Artists in Las Vegas
For my PMU artists, this move is especially exciting.
I’ve spent years building Inspired by Ms Amber Red as an education platform for permanent makeup artists, so education and artist development have always been a huge part of what I do.
Check out Inspired by Ms Amber Red!
But there’s something different about being able to actually bring artists together in person.
We’re going to be able to host educational events, demonstrations, workshops, artist meetups and other experiences that are difficult to create in a traditional studio environment.
And I’m excited to get artists out from behind their screens.
Because let’s be honest.
You can watch a million videos.
You can take online courses.
You can scroll Instagram for six hours.
But sometimes you need to actually stand in a room with another artist, ask questions, watch somebody work and talk shop.
That’s where some of the best learning happens.
We’re Hosting Events at the New Space
And this is where things are going to get really fun.
The new Arts District location gives us the space to start hosting events.
Not just formal classes.
I’m talking about artist events, educational experiences, community events, collaborations, demonstrations, launch parties and nights where we can simply bring people together.
I’ve always loved teaching, but I also love creating experiences where people can connect.
That’s one of the reasons I’m especially excited about what we’re calling Preview Nights.
What Are Preview Nights?
Think of Preview Nights as your chance to come check out the new space before everything is fully underway.
You can come see the studio.
Meet some of the artists.
See what we’re building.
Ask questions.
Hang out.
Check out the artwork.
And get a feel for what we’re bringing to the Arts District.
It’s not supposed to feel like some overly formal grand opening where everyone stands around awkwardly holding a tiny drink.
We’re artists. Let’s actually have some fun.
We’ll be bringing different artists, vendors, collaborators and members of our community into these events as we continue growing.
And yes, there will absolutely be more events announced as we get settled in.
Why I’m Excited About Having Tattoo Artists Here
I’ve been in the permanent makeup industry long enough to know that PMU artists sometimes get stuck in their own little bubble.
We talk to other PMU artists.
We follow PMU artists.
We watch PMU content.
We go to PMU conferences.
And that’s all great.
But there is a HUGE world of tattooing and traditional artistry that we can learn from, too.
Having tattoo artists in the studio gives us another opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas.
Things like:
- Needle knowledge
- Skin behavior
- Machine techniques
- Saturation
- Color theory
- Design
- Composition
- Healing
- Tattoo longevity
- Client experience
- Studio culture
There’s a lot of crossover between tattooing and permanent makeup.
And I’m excited to create a space where those conversations can actually happen.
A Creative Community in Downtown Las Vegas
One of the biggest reasons I wanted to move into the Arts District is the community.
Las Vegas isn’t just casinos and the Strip.
There is an entire creative community here doing some seriously cool shit.
Artists are opening studios.
Businesses are creating unique experiences.
Murals are going up.
New restaurants and shops are opening.
Events are happening.
People are creating businesses around things they’re actually passionate about.
That’s the Las Vegas community I want to be around.
And I want Ms Amber Red to contribute to it.
Not just take up space.
Contribute.
That means collaborating with other local businesses.
Supporting other artists.
Hosting events.
Bringing people into the neighborhood.
Creating opportunities for artists.
And hopefully becoming a place people recognize as part of the Arts District experience.
What This Means for My Clients
If you’re a client who has been coming to see me for permanent makeup, don’t worry — this doesn’t mean I’m suddenly disappearing into the artist universe and forgetting about you.
Your brows, eyeliner, lips and other services are still a huge part of what we do.
You can book your permanent makeup service with me and come check out the new location!
But the new location is going to give us more room to create a better overall experience.
Whether you’re coming in for:
- Permanent eyebrows
- Ombre brows
- Combo brows
- Permanent eyeliner
- Lip blush
- Lipstick-style lips
- Lip liner
- Permanent makeup corrections
- PMU removal or lightening
- Scar camouflage
- SMP
- Or another service
you’re going to be walking into a space surrounded by artists.
And that’s exactly what I wanted.
And Yes… We’re Still Doing Permanent Makeup Corrections
This is something I don’t want to get lost in all the excitement about the new location.
Permanent makeup correction has become a huge part of what I do.
I’ve worked on old brows that have turned gray, red, orange, blue, overly saturated, uneven, blurry or simply aren’t the shape the client wants anymore.
Get more information about our permanent makeup corrections and removals.
Moving into a space with more artists and more room also gives us the opportunity to continue expanding the services and education surrounding corrections.
Because if you’ve had a bad permanent makeup experience, I know you’re probably not looking for somebody to tell you, “Don’t worry, I can cover it.”
You want someone to actually look at what’s there and tell you what your options are.
Sometimes that’s a new procedure.
Sometimes it’s color correction.
Sometimes it’s lightening or removal first.
And sometimes the answer is to leave it alone.
I’m always going to be straight with you about that.
This Is Also About the Future
I’ve been doing permanent makeup for a long time.
And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you can’t build a business by constantly looking backward.
You have to keep evolving.
The industry changes.
Artists change.
Clients change.
Technology changes.
And businesses have to change with them.
This move is part of that next chapter for me.
It’s giving us room to grow.
Room for more artists.
Room for tattooing.
Room for education.
Room for events.
Room for collaborations.
And honestly, room to do some things I haven’t even thought of yet.
That’s the exciting part.
What I Want This Space to Feel Like
I don’t want you walking into the new Ms Amber Red location and feeling like you’ve entered some sterile, generic beauty studio.
I want it to feel creative.
I want it to feel comfortable.
I want you to see artwork on the walls.
I want artists working.
I want conversations happening.
I want people coming in for different reasons and leaving having discovered something new.
Maybe you came in for your brows and ended up meeting a tattoo artist.
Maybe you’re a PMU artist who came for an event and connected with another artist.
Maybe you’re a local business owner who wants to collaborate.
Maybe you’re just walking through the Arts District and decide to come see what we’re doing.
That’s the kind of space I want to create.
We’re Building Something Bigger Than a Studio
When I started Ms Amber Red, I was focused on doing good permanent makeup.
Over the years, it became education.
Then it became a community of artists.
And now we’re creating an actual physical space where all of those things can exist together.
Permanent makeup. Tattooing. Education. Art. Events. Community.
That’s what I’m most excited about.
The Arts District feels like the right place for the next version of Ms Amber Red.
And I’m not pretending everything is going to be perfectly figured out from day one.
We’re going to build it.
We’re going to experiment.
We’re going to host events.
We’re going to bring people together.
We’re going to collaborate.
We’re probably going to change things along the way.
And that’s okay.
That’s what building a business actually looks like.
So… When Can You Come See Us?
We’re going to be announcing our upcoming Preview Nights and events as the new location comes together.
If you’ve been wanting to see what we’re creating, this is your chance to come check it out, meet the team, see the space and become part of the next chapter.
And if you’re an artist in Las Vegas — PMU, tattoo, or otherwise — keep an eye on us.
There are going to be plenty of opportunities to connect, learn, collaborate and get involved.
And if you’re a client who’s been following me for years, thank you.
Seriously.
This business wouldn’t be where it is without the people who trusted me with their faces, sent their friends, took my courses, showed up to events, supported the studio and continued to follow along through every weird little chapter of this business.
We’re not just moving locations.
We’re building the next chapter.
And I’m pretty damn excited about it.
Welcome to the next chapter of Ms Amber Red.
See you in the Arts District.
